IV sedation dentistry puts your fears to rest!
If the thought of dental care makes you anxious and afraid, Dr. Olsen can help. He offers intravenous (IV) sedation dentistry. Twilight sleep safely puts you in a tranquil state of mind so you can stay comfortable throughout your treatment. In addition to not feeling any pain, you will have virtually no memory of your procedure. Dr. Olsen can perform all procedures with IV sedation, so you won’t have to be nervous again and you can relax.

Dr. Olsen is one of the few dentists in Southern Utah with the licensing and anesthesia training to perform IV sedation. IV sedation is a safe procedure that puts you into a tranquil, relaxed state of mind so you will feel removed from what is going on, feel no pain and have virtually no memory of your treatment.

Comprehensive exams.
When you arrive at Red Cliffs Dental, you will receive a complete examination that includes digital X-rays — which use up to 90% less radiation than conventional X-rays — and a complete oral cancer screening. Dr. Olsen also uses a camera inside your mouth to allow you to see what he is seeing and catch problems much earlier. Afterward, you’ll get a complete dental cleaning using advanced ultrasonic equipment by a dental hygienist.

Multistep sterilization procedures.
Your safety is one of the cornerstones of Dr. Olsen’s practice, and this is no more evident than with his multistep sterilization process that is compliant with OSHA guidelines. All instruments are sterilized chemically and sonically and finished with heat sterilization. And you’ll feel confident knowing that each treatment room is also sterilized before your appointment.
